I was born in March 20th, 1993 in Seoul, Korea. The home of my soul is, though, Ilsan, a town in Goyang.

I'm majoring international studies at Korea University, but for I'm studying as an exchange student at Hokkaido University, Japan, from September 2014 to August 2015.

This blog is about what I ate on the day, as you can see from the name of it. Oh, and don't forget that the theme includes the things I did, too. Why? Because it is more like a diary of a Korean living in Sapporo, Japan, rather than an archive of restaurant review or recipes. With my blog, you might get a hint of how it is to live in Japan as a foreign student.

Yes, this blog is quite a bit 'international'. This is an English blog about Japanese life of a Korean, and even the address of the blog is German* (Essen des Tages - it means 'food of the day'.)! I hope this is a composition interesting enough for you.

* The reason why the address of this blog is in German is... quite simple. I've learnt German when I was 16, and I did it in a 'super intensive' course for 6 months. Quite a lot, huh? But for football (I'm a big fan of FC Bayern Munich) and music (e.g. Wir Sind Helden, Karpatenhund, Panik a.k.a. Nevada Tan, Rammstein, Cinema Bizarre, Wunder, Fraeulein Wunder, etc.), I have almost nothing to do with my German. What a waste of language skill! That's why I almost always use German in address or ID.
Nah, believe or not, that's a joke. I just like the sound of "Essen des Tages". It sounds like "Elf des Tages" (Kicker.de's best players of a match day in Bundesliga).
